Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change, and we strive to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability. However, cancellations impact our ability to serve other guests and maintain our high standards of service. Therefore, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation with Cash Back:

   • If you choose to cancel your reservation and opt for a refund, full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before check-in, subject to a processing fee. For reservations made or cancelled less than 48 hours before check-in, a 50% cancellation fee applies regardless of when the reservation was made.

2. Rescheduling Option:

   • Alternatively, guests have the option to reschedule their booking for another date, subject to availability and within a period of 1 year. After this period, your booking will be considered a No-Show.
   • There will be no additional charge for rescheduling, provided the new booking falls within the terms and conditions of the original reservation.

3. Cancellation Procedure:

   To cancel or reschedule your reservation, please contact our Reservations Team (frontdesk@avenuemontaigne.ng) at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date and time.

   • 48 hours or more before check-in: You may cancel and receive a full refund, subject to a processing fee.
   • Less than 48 hours before check-in: A 50% cancellation fee will apply. Only 50% of the total booking amount will be refundable.
   • This policy applies regardless of when the reservation was made.

4. Exceptions:

   • In cases of force majeure or extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of the guest (e.g., natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions), we will assess cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
   • Guests may be eligible for a full refund or alternative arrangements, depending on the circumstances and the availability of the property.

5. No-Show Policy:

   • Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be treated as a No-Show.
   • No-Shows are subject to the full booking amount, and no refunds or rescheduling options will be provided.

6. Booking Modifications:

   • Changes to existing bookings, such as amendments to the duration of stay or accommodation type, may be accommodated subject to availability and applicable fees.
   • Early Departure – No Refund Policy
     Please be advised that all reservations are non-refundable in the event of an early departure. Guests who choose to check out before their confirmed departure date will remain responsible for the full cost of the original booking. No refunds will be issued for unused nights. We may only consider the rescheduling option for unused nights within a period of one year.
